The “Diamonds” hitmaker, 37, revealed that she’s pregnant with her and boyfriend A$AP Rocky’s third child on Monday in show-stopping fashion: by showing off her baby bump on the 2025 Met Gala red carpet.
The Fenty Beauty founder looked incredible in a cropped Marc Jacobs suit jacket, wool bustier top and a pinstripe skirt featuring a thigh-high slit and a sculptural bustle made to look like it’s own suit jacket.
She matched the black-and-white look to two-tone heels and styled her hair in a sleek updo underneath a statement-making hat, adding a polka-dotted cravat for a dose of dandyism.

Before posing on the Met Gala steps, Rihanna surprised fans when she was spotted cradling her baby bump in a form-hugging, gray two-piece. The “Work” singer, who’s been the subject of pregnancy rumors in recent weeks, seemingly confirmed the news in an outfit that put her growing bump front and center.
Holding a brown fuzzy coat in her arms, Rihanna showed off butt-length black extensions with a subtle mermaid wave, which she topped with a bonnet-style hat. A pair of dual-toned knee-high gray boots finished off her outfit. Wearing a pearl necklace, everyone’s favorite Bad Gal kept her beauty look simple with a mauve lip and sculpted cheeks.

Rihanna has been a Met Gala mainstay since she attended her first in 2007, but tonight’s appearance marks her first time in two years. The last time we saw the singer was in 2023, when she and Rocky were the last two people to walk the carpet, arriving after most live streams ended. She wore a silk Valentino Haute Couture gown and paired it with a cape covered in 30 giant camellia appliqués made of 500 petals and a never-ending train.

Earlier that year, Rihanna performed on the Super Bowl Halftime stage and delivered one heck of a performance. At the end of that performance, she put her baby bump on display and formally announced that she was pregnant with her second child.
While she initially shared she was planning to attend the 2024 Met Gala, the pop star wasn’t able to make it after coming down with the flu right before fashion’s biggest night. However, it looks like history is repeating itself with her latest return to the Met Gala red carpet.
