Who Dies in ‘The Boys’ Series Finale? Fate of Homelander & More Revealed (Spoilers)

The series finale of The Boys is now streaming on Prime Video, bringing an intense and dramatic end to the fan-favorite show.

In the fifth and final season, Homelander fully takes control, ruling through his unpredictable and egotistical behavior. Meanwhile, Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are held in a “Freedom Camp,” and Annie struggles to organize a resistance against the powerful Supe forces. Kimiko is missing for much of the season. When Billy Butcher returns with plans to use a virus designed to eliminate all Supes, it sets off a chain of events that permanently changes the world.

All eight episodes of the final season are now available to stream, along with the complete series.

In the finale, several major characters meet their end.

Oh Father, played by Daveed Diggs, dies during a confrontation with Mother’s Milk after being restrained before he can use his sonic abilities.

The Deep, played by Chace Crawford, is killed by Starlight after a final battle and is later attacked by sea creatures when he returns to the ocean, reflecting the consequences of his past actions.

Billy Butcher, played by Karl Urban, ultimately dies in the finale as well. After surviving long enough to confront Homelander and stop him, Butcher is later shot by Hughie when he attempts to release a virus intended to wipe out all Supes.

The finale closes the series with major losses and a dramatic conclusion to the conflict between humans and Supes.
