Full House fans got a sweet dose of nostalgia at Disney World. While in Florida for Nostalgia Con, John Stamos and Lori Loughlin, both 62, visited Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and recreated a scene from the show’s 1993 two-part episode “The House Meets the Mouse.”
The original scene
In the episode, the Tanners’ Disney vacation falls on Jesse and Becky’s anniversary, but Jesse keeps getting pulled away. He makes it up to her by playing piano and singing to her from the hotel lobby while she watches from the balcony above.
More than 30 years later, a fan video shows Stamos back at the lobby piano as Loughlin looks on, while a crowd of delighted guests records the moment.
A cast that’s still close
That same weekend, Stamos posted a TikTok of himself, Loughlin, Jodie Sweetin, Dave Coulier and Andrea Barber doing a head-bobbing dance trend to C+C Music Factory’s “Gonna Make You Sweat.” He joked in the caption that they all threw their necks out.
It was the cast’s first big get-together since Coulier, 66, finished cancer treatment. He revealed a stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosis in November 2024 and announced he was cancer-free five months later.
Stamos is known for romantic gestures off screen, too. For his fifth wedding anniversary with wife Caitlin McHugh in 2023, he painted her a watercolor.
Our take
Some shows fade, but Full House keeps pulling fans back, largely because the cast clearly still enjoys each other. After Coulier’s health scare, seeing everyone together, dancing and laughing, means a little more.
