The Grammy-winning musician and his longtime love said “I do” in an intimate California wedding surrounded by famous friends and family.
It was a big weekend for the O’Connell family!

Finneas O’Connell and Claudia Sulewski are officially married. The Grammy-winning musician and producer and the actress, creator and CYKLAR Skincare founder tied the knot on Saturday, August 29, 2026, in Montecito, California, according to Vogue.
But the wedding had an especially memorable twist: Finneas’ younger sister, global superstar Billie Eilish, officiated the ceremony.
The intimate celebration brought together family, close friends and plenty of famous faces, making it a star-studded moment without losing its personal feel.
Billie Eilish Wasn’t Just a Guest
While most guests arrived to celebrate the couple, Billie had a much bigger role.
The “Birds of a Feather” singer officiated her older brother’s wedding to Sulewski, making the ceremony a particularly meaningful family affair.
Photos from the celebration show Billie alongside her brother and his new wife, as well as her boyfriend, Nat Wolff, who was also among the guests.
For Finneas, having his sister play such an important role in the wedding made the occasion even more special.
A Fashion-Filled Wedding Weekend

Sulewski turned the wedding celebrations into a full fashion moment.
According to Vogue, the bride wore multiple Oscar de la Renta looks throughout the wedding weekend, including outfits for the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, first dance, reception and after-party.
Rather than sticking to just one bridal look, Sulewski had several opportunities to showcase different styles throughout the celebrations.
The wedding itself took place at the exclusive San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California, creating a picturesque setting for the couple’s big day.
A Guest List Full of Stars
The celebration attracted an impressive group of celebrity guests.

Among those in attendance were Nina Dobrev, Dax Shepard, Kristen Bell, Emma Chamberlain, Rachel Sennott, Stassie Karanikolaou, Jason Sudeikis and Carter Gregory.
Justin and Hailey Bieber were also photographed at the wedding, while Billie Eilish and Nat Wolff joined the celebration.
With so many familiar faces in attendance, the wedding quickly became one of the weekend’s most talked-about celebrity events.
From a Dating App Match to Husband and Wife
Finneas and Sulewski’s relationship began in a surprisingly modern way.
The couple first met on a dating app in 2018.
Their connection quickly became part of Finneas’ creative world. In 2019, he revealed that he wrote his song “Claudia” within hours of meeting Sulewski and even sent her parts of the song that same night.
The couple continued to inspire each other creatively over the years.
In 2022, Sulewski appeared in and directed the music video for Finneas’ song “Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa,” showing that their relationship extended beyond their personal lives and into their creative work.
Seven Years Later, They Said “Forever”
After years together, Finneas proposed to Sulewski in September 2025 during a romantic sunset proposal.
The couple announced their engagement with a joint Instagram post featuring the simple caption:
“Forever and ever 9.22.”
The proposal came after roughly seven years of dating, making their wedding the latest chapter in a relationship that began in 2018.
Finneas later joked about just how difficult it was to keep the proposal secret.
Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon shortly afterward, he admitted that keeping the surprise from Sulewski was so stressful that it convinced him he wasn’t cut out for a life of crime.
“I’m very relieved that it happened,” he joked.
Finneas Admitted He Was Nervous About the Wedding
Although Finneas had already survived the stress of planning a secret proposal, preparing for the wedding brought its own nerves.
He previously told PEOPLE that he wanted Sulewski to love every part of the celebration and was happy to let her take the lead on many of the planning decisions.
He described himself as the couple’s “hype man,” joking that he was easy to please and would happily support her choices.
But beneath the jokes, Finneas admitted that he spent months worrying about getting all the details right.
“I was nervous, and I was not,” he explained, adding that he felt extremely relieved once everything came together.
A New Chapter for Finneas and Claudia
From a dating-app meeting to songs inspired by their relationship, a surprise engagement and now a wedding officiated by Billie Eilish, Finneas and Claudia Sulewski’s love story has certainly come full circle.
And with their closest friends, family and some of Hollywood’s biggest names there to celebrate, their August 29 wedding looks like it was every bit as personal — and glamorous — as fans could have hoped.
Congratulations to the newlyweds! 💍🤍
