Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been placed in solitary confinement after getting into a fight with another inmate at FCI Fort Dix, a low-security federal prison in New Jersey, according to NBC News and TMZ, citing a source.
The alleged altercation reportedly began after another inmate insulted the 56-year-old music mogul and was quickly broken up by prison staff. It remains unclear whether the incident could impact Combs’ projected release date.
Combs is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution following his 2025 federal trial. He was acquitted of the more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
His release date is currently scheduled for February 2028, after receiving credit for time served before his trial. FCI Fort Dix, where Combs is incarcerated, is located on a military base outside Philadelphia.
