Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade Giannulli have ended their relationship once again.
After calling it quits in August and briefly giving their romance another chance in September, sources close to the pair confirm that it’s officially over this time. “It’s fully over. They are not getting back together,” one insider shared.
Jacob, 28, and Olivia, 26, have been dating on and off since 2021. According to the same source, Olivia isn’t too broken up about the split her main concern right now is her family situation.
Her parents, actress Lori Loughlin and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, recently separated after 28 years of marriage.
Olivia and Jacob’s last breakup came in August, but just a few weeks later, she supported him at the Toronto International Film Festival for the premiere of his movie Frankenstein on September 8. The two appeared close, with Jacob even helping her with her dress as they walked the red carpet together.
By mid-September, they were seen spending time together again, fueling talk that they had reconciled.
The couple first sparked dating rumors in late 2021 after being spotted together in Los Angeles’ Silver Lake neighborhood, shortly after Jacob’s split from model Kaia Gerber.
Meanwhile, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli’s separation has also made headlines. Friends of Loughlin say she’s doing her best to stay positive and is leaning on her support system. “She has a good group of friends. Many of them have gone through similar experiences, and they’re rallying behind her,” one insider shared.
Those close to her have reportedly not been happy with Mossimo. “They do not like him,” the source added. “They’re very angry with him.”
Mossimo has declined to comment publicly on the separation, while Loughlin’s representative has stated that the couple is “living apart and taking a break from their marriage.”
Adding to the tension, actor John Stamos Loughlin’s longtime friend and former Full House costar shared his thoughts during an episode of the Good Guys podcast earlier this month.
“He’s a terrible narcissist, and I don’t think you ever get out of that unless you’re able to,” said Stamos, 62. “I know a little about him, but I still wonder how do you bust that up?”
