Celebrity Dads Who Let Their Daughters Do Their Makeup, Nails and Dress-Up

From face masks to dress up, these celebrity dads are willing to let their little girls give them the full glam treatment

As these celebrity dads have found out, one of the benefits of having daughters is living with your own in-home glam squad.

From David and Victoria Beckham’s daughter Harper giving her dad a little contour to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson getting his nails done before heading to work, see these stars undergoing makeovers big and small by their little girls.

David Beckham

When Victoria Beckham posted a video to her TikTok in May 2025 of her daughter Harper giving dad David a little touch-up, it wasn’t the first time the former soccer player had the couple’s youngest daughter do his beauty routine.

In July 2023, David shared a photo of Harper applying products to his face along with the caption: “Daddy apparently needed a little powder & contouring ( not sure what that means but I looked better what ever it was ) 🩷 my little makeup artist 🩷.”

Jimmy Kimmel

While filming an episode of the at-home edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live! during quarantine in 2020, the late-night host showed footage of his then 5 1/2-year-old daughter Jane doing his makeup. While sporting an adorable tiara, the little one applied color to her dad’s eyelids, cheeks and lips.

“Oh my gosh,” Jane says with a laugh as dad puckers up, “You should look at yourself when you’re done, okay?”

Chris Pratt

“All I have to say is… Jack would never do this to me,” Pratt captioned an Instagram of the face jewels and turquoise manicure presumably provided to him by his daughter Lyla, now 4 and referencing his elder son Jack, whom he shares with ex Anna Faris.

Pratt shares Lyla along with Eloise, 3, and Ford, who was born in November 2024, with wife Katherine Schwarzenegger.

Derek Jeter

In August 2022, the former New York Yankee shared a sweet photo on social media of two of his three daughters giving him a manicure while relaxing outside.

“I have a new appreciation for nail polish remover,” he teased on X, previously known as Twitter, while simply captioning his Instagram photo, “HELP!!!”

A year later, he further proved his commitment to the bit, celebrating his daughter’s sixth birthday with a face full of gems.

Jeter shares daughters Bella Raine, Story Grey, River Rose, and son, Kaius, with wife Hannah Jeter.

Channing Tatum

Channing Tatum’s daughter, Evie has been known to give her dad makeovers over the years so it was no surprise when he showed up to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour with a full Lover heart drawn on his face. In addition to the bedazzled face art, he also fully owned his dad status by sporting a T-shirt that read, “It’s me, hi, I’m the daddy it’s me.”

Back in July 2022, Kevin Jonas shared a photo snapped on a visit to the nail salon with his youngest daughter, Valentina. “#girldad things,” he wrote alongside the photo of the pair sitting with their hands up and ready for a manicure.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson

In September 2018, Johnson shared a sweet moment with his daughter, Jazzy, showing off her nail polishing skills. He shared their exchange on Instagram.

“Me: Come here baby, give daddy a kiss I gotta go to work.
Jazzy: But daddy you need your nails painted.
Me: Sorry baby, daddy’s gotta go to work
Jazzy: No daddy you really need your nails painted – as she looks up at me with her mama’s gorgeous blue eyes.
Me: Yes, you’re absolutely right – daddy needs his nails painted.”

And that was just one of many times Johnson has let his daughters experiment on him with their beauty products; in January 2025, he shared a very avant-garde look created on his face by Jazzy and Tia. “They’ll always be my baby girls so I’ll take this abuse all day long – bring it on,” he wrote.

He’s got a tough-guy persona thanks to his time on The Walking Dead, but as it turns out, the actor (with partner Diane Kruger) is a total softie where budding makeup artist Nova, 3, is concerned.

“A family that make-ups together….😎🙌🙅🏻‍♀️💋” Kruger captioned the shot, posted the day after Father’s Day in 2022.

James Van Der Beek

James Van Der Beek shared the perfect “#Parenting tip” with his followers after spending some time with his daughter doing self care back in 2022.

“When your daughter wants to #girldad you… ride the wave. And enjoy. ❤️, ” the dad of six shared in the caption of a video of his daughter, Emilia, helping him use a face mask.

Many families got creative in COVID quarantine, and that includes the Wahlbergs. Dad Mark let daughter Grace use his nails as a creative outlet, and she did her thing with bright pink polish.

The following year, Grace was back at it again when she gave her dad a set of long black nails.

“I thought Halloween was over,” he said with a sigh in a video shared to Instagram later adding, “She got me again.”

In April 2021, the Maroon Five frontman shared a rare family photo of himself and wife Behati Prinsloo wearing matching dresses with their daughters: Dusty Rose and Gio Grace.

In an adorable video captured by Jared Padalecki’s wife, Genevieve, the Supernatural star gets some hair help from their daughter, Odette. The then 5-year-old sprayed her dad’s hair and used not one but two brushes, much to the delight of her parents.
